Before you start
What counts as certification?
Each Tempered program has a real bar for every rank. You certify when a grader, separate from your mentor, sees you do the skill to that bar on your own work. Reading or watching content does not count. Certification opens alongside the Journeyman and Master proofs.
Does the refund apply to expert programs?
The $1,000 certification refund applies to Tempered programs. Expert programs are billed monthly at a price the expert sets.
Can my company pay for this?
Yes. Tell us about your team through the course request form and we will set it up, enrolling each person individually.
Do I need Claude?
Yes. Your mentor works inside your own Claude, so you’ll need a Claude account before you start. Tempered keeps your goals, your progress and your grades. Why that is more than a Claude skill.
Can I stop the monthly fee?
The monthly fee runs while you are training. Pause or stop when you need to; your progress is kept for when you come back.
